OBJECTIVES

Strengthen Open Innovation Partnership Establish cooperation network integrating with the global innovation resources. Promote the YRD region to take part in global R&D collaboration on the basis of mutual benefit.

Facilitate Cooperation Matchmaking Advance the industrial R&D project cooperation with first-class innovation institutions. Facilitate more transformations and industrializations of global advanced technologies in the YRD region.
ACTIVITIES
1.Plenary Session - Forum on YRD’s Open Innovation
Addresses and speeches by distinguished Chinese and international representatives.
2.Technology Briefings by International Technology Transfer Agencies
Technology briefings will be released mainly by international technology transfer agencies established or co-established in the YRD region by well-known overseas universities and research institutes.
3.Webinar on “Belt and Road” Technology Cooperation for Improving Local People’s Livelihoods
The webinar will focus on technology cooperation for improving local people’s livelihoods related to agriculture, poverty reduction, medical care, health and other fields. The representatives from Chinese organizations and “Belt and Road” partners will share their experience and vision on cooperation and ideas on how to promote future cooperation.。
4.Technology Roadshows
Over 10 sessions will be set up for countries such as Australia, Austria, Finland, Germany, Hungary, Norway, ROK(Republic of Korea), Singapore, Spain, where well-known universities, research institutes and high-tech companies from relevant countries will be invited to give technology briefings online, with each session focusing on one or two fields.
5.Virtual B2B Meetings
Registered participants shall make meeting appointment through i-PIC system prior to the Conference. B2B meetings will be held in online meeting rooms based on the appointment schedule, which will be 30 min maximum for each pair.
Priority fields: digital technology, life sciences, intelligent manufacturing, new materials, green growth, high-tech agriculture.
