The Invitation of overseas delegates for the 7th China Jiangsu Conference for International Technology Transfer and Commercialization (CITTC2020) has been officially launched. By the end of September, 105 overseas institutions and 135 representatives from over 20 countries and regions including the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Israel, Russia, the UK, Germany, France, Norway, Finland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Macedonia, the Republic of Korea, Japan, Singapore and Tanzania have confirmed their attendance online or offline, focusing on the new generation information technology, hi-tech agriculture, bio-medicines and healthcare, advanced energy and clean technology, intelligent manufacturing and advanced equipment and other pioneering technologies.
Foreign experts to participate in this conference mainly come from universities, research institutes, multinationals, and technology transfer agencies in countries and regions with strong innovation capacities and those along the Belt and Road Initiative routes, including University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), University of Western Ontario, University of Melbourne, SHENG-BDO Ziv Haft, Russian Academy of Sciences, University of Oxford, Rothamsted Research, AstraZeneca, Fraunhofer Research Institution, Kiwi Innovation Network, Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, Sungkyunkwan University, Japan Science and Technology Agency, and East Slovakia Investment Agency.
Some key national-level governmental institutions that have close cooperation ties with Jiangsu will organize delegations to participate in specific sessions relevant to their respective countries and fields. For example, the Tomsk State Government of Russia, Innovation Norway, Consulate General of Finland in Shanghai, Noord-Brabant Province of the Netherlands, Embassy of Austria in China, Business Finland, Kiwi Innovation Network, and KOTRA will organize representatives of local companies, science and research institutes, and universities to attend the conference, hold the featured technology briefings and participate in online B2B meetings with Jiangsu companies.
Now a total of 664 Jiangsu companies with clear cooperation intentions and demands have registered on i-PIC, online matchmaking system of CITTC2020. Among them, 126 companies in the field of the new generation information technology, 184 companies in the field of new materials, 181 companies in the field of intelligent manufacturing and advanced equipment, 85 companies in the field of bio-medicine and healthcare, 91 companies in the field of advanced energy and clean technology, 35 companies in the field of hi-tech agriculture, and 135 companies in other fields.
